Dr. Taleb A. to receive Order of Merit

As Germany stretches a Christmas holiday that is, at best, a ten-hour affair into a two-and-a-half-day nationwide shutdown — the distilled essence of German productivity, really — the Office of the Federal President of Germany is honored to announce a year-end addition to its list of recipients of the nation’s highest tribute: the Order of Merit.

In recognition of his extraordinary efforts at integration, the Federal President of Germany is to bestow the medal on Dr. Taleb A. — after time served, of course, for getting a little carried away in those efforts.
